If you have large enough of an imagination, you just might think a team of leprechauns designed the 2012 model year of the Honda Civics. There are seven different trim levels of the vehicle, most of which are now available at your local Honda New Jersey dealership, Planet Honda. However, upon inspection you’ll find management overruled the leprechauns in their attempt to continue the rainbow theme to the exterior color options for the new Civics. Unfortunately, a 2012 Honda Civic from the Honda New Jersey dealership does not come in indigo.
Red – Civic Sedan: The base model of the 2012 lineup is extremely similar to the 2011 Honda Civic. Newark commuters will still love this vehicle – 39 miles per gallon highway fuel efficiency means extra gas money in your pocket.
Orange – Civic Coupe: If you do not need the extra doors on the sedan, why pay for them? Opt for the nearly identical two-door version and save 0. Base model starts at an incredibly affordable ,605.
Yellow- Civic Si Sedan: No, this is not the model for Sports Illustrated lovers. Rather, this is the model for power lovers. The Civic Si Sedan improves horsepower from 140 to 201. However, drivers will pay at the pump – the added “oomph” drops the Civics fuel efficiency to 31 miles per gallon on the highway.
Green- Civic Hybrid – As green as green can be. This hybrid version of the well-selling Civic ups your return on gasoline to 44 miles per gallon during any kind of driving.
Blue – Civic Si Coupe – We skipped this one because the hybrid had to be green. Coming back around, the Civic Si Coupe loses the doors of the Civic Si Sedan, just like the base model sedan and coupe.
Indigo – Civic HF – Ride with the wind in the Civic HF – literally. A new model to the Civic lineup, the HF has added aerodynamic features in order to gain the best fuel efficiency possible. At a rated 41 miles per gallon during highway driving, the HF seems to be succeeding at its task.
Violet – Civic NGV – Still waiting on the 2012 version, the Civic NGV runs on natural gas, hence the name – a great alternative to hybrid technology for the environmentally concerned. Can’t wait for the 2012 model? Available now is the NGV version of the 2011 Honda Civic. Newark residents should visit their local Honda dealer, Planet Honda, for more information on this or any of the other Civic models.
Detailed description of a CNG conversion costing about 00. With a little bit of automotive mechanical skill, you can convert your car to operate on compressed natural gas and gasoline both. I did all the conversion work myself at the Wrench-It Center in Salt Lake City. It is an awesome do-it-yourself garage facility with lifts and specialty tools. Check it out at www.wrench-it.com.
